Lighting "Lamps for Unity" condemning Pulwama Terror Attack

Terrorism is an act of cowardice which should be condemned at every level. The ghastly terror attack at Pulwama, which claimed lives of more than 40 CRPF Jawans, has left the whole Nation bleeding.

Each and every citizen of India have been fuming with anger over the last two days and everyone wants these acts of terrorism to end for good.

Even the children of ‘Voice of World’ were visibly upset and were quite agitated when they came to know about the incident. Spontaneously they decided to show their solidarity with the sentiment of the Nation and also show respect for the departed souls by organising a Condolence Meeting on Sunday, (17.2.19) after the evening Prayers. Each of the children held an illuminated ‘Diya’ (earthen lamp) to create the ‘Light for Unity’. They feel, each and every countrymen should be united at this hour of crisis and wage a sustained war against terrorism. A pattern of illuminated ribbon was formed by the underprivileged differently-abled children of ‘Voice of World’, who held the glowing lamps. A minute of silence was also observed to mark

respect for the departed souls.
