Paying Homage to Great Poet - Rabindranath Tagore on his 158th Birth Anniversary

We are extremely fortunate to be able to read Rabindranath Tagore's literary creations, to be able to sing Rabindrasangeet as those creations seems to be direct creations of the Almighty. Perhaps that is the reason why Rabindranath Tagore is regarded as 'World Poet' (Biswa-Kabi) and also 'Master Poet' (Kabiguru). No occasion for Bengalis is complete without deliverance/ performance of creations of Rabindranath Tagore.

The Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore is thus observed and celebrated by Bengalis with a lot of respect and fervor wherever they reside - in the country or abroad.

The 158th Birth Anniversary of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore would be observed and celebrated at 'Voice of World' tomorrow (25th Boisakh/ 9th May) through a lot of cultural activities throughout the day.

The day would start with a Early Morning Rally (Probhat Ferry) wherein all underprivileged differently-abled students would participate in a rally by chanting Rabindrasangeet.

Thereafter the children of the Kindergarten School of 'Voice of World' would stage a cultural programme to observe Rabindra Jayanti.

In the evening all students of 'Voice of World' would put up a Cultural Show as a part of Rabindra Jayanti celebrations.

The evening cultural programme would commence at 6pm and conclude at about 9pm at the Behala Sakherbazar centre.

We request everyone to witness the Cultural exploits of the underprivileged children at 'Voice of World', Behala Sakherbazar and be a part of the Rabindra Jayanti Celebrations tomorrow.

Regards,

Voice of World Family
