Chanting of the National Anthem lifts the spirit at 'Voice of World' during the COVID-19 Lockdown

The most motivating song of all times for any Indian undoubtedly is our National Anthem - "Jana Gana Mana Adhinayak Jaya He".

Indians of all ages, caste, creed, religion and social status have the same passion towards it.

During this hour of severe crisis, the most important thing is to remain united and fight this war as a team against the COVID-19 virus.

Whenever we sing the National Anthem aloud together - a sense of pride and patriotism gets incited within and the thought of being united also gets awakened.

Though this catastrophe has melted all borders still as a nation we need to fight as a team and at the same time stand by the whole world.

To incite this sense of unity, we at 'Voice of World' have started the practice of chanting loudly the National Anthem daily by everyone (children, teachers & volunteers) during the Assembly in the morning with social distancing norms also being complied to.

In the last few days, the National Anthem has really cast a spell of magic amongst the inmates here at 'Voice of World' with a major improvement being noticed in the hygiene front.

Be it personal hygiene or community hygiene, all the inmates including the children are voluntarily adhering to their hygiene related assigned responsibilities and the positive results are noticeable.

Thus at 'Voice of World' at the Saltighat centre we are practising and not merely preaching about utilising the opportunities during adversities for societal development.
